The Norrie Point Environmental Center is the Reserve headquarters, housing our research lab and offering interpretive exhibits, classroom space, and educational programs to the public.

Stockport Flats

Stockport Flats in Columbia County offers hiking along freshwater wetlands to the historic ruins of the Scott ice house at Nutten Hook, and boat access to the Hudson River Islands State Park.

Tivoli Bays

Protecting two miles of shore in Dutchess County, Tivoli Bays allows for extensive hiking and recreation through incredible wetlands which support a rich ecosystem of fish, wildlife, and plant species.

Iona Island

Paddle the waters around this 556-acre bedrock island nestled in the the mountains of Rockland County, bordered by meadows, marshes, shallows, and mudflats.

Piermont Marsh

This thousand-acre site in Rockland County protects two miles of shore, brackish tidal marsh, and shallows. Fish, crab, or watch birds off the mile-long Piermont Pier, or explore the trails in the Tallman Mountain State Park.
