Science Saturdays: Vernal Pool Exploration
April 18 @ 10:00 am - 12:00 pm
Join the Education Staff of Norrie Point Environmental Center to carefully explore one of the park’s vernal pools. These seasonal waterbodies are havens for frogs, toads, salamanders, newts, and macroinvertebrates. Discover all the wonderful things these biodiverse habitats have to offer. Please wear appropriate footwear for a short hike.
Events are free and open to the public. The Hudson River National Estuarine Research Reserve’s education programs are delivered in partnership with the Hudson River Estuary Program.
