Science Saturdays: Plant ID Walk

Science Saturdays are moving to the Power House at Staatsburgh State Historic Site for the summer! Join DEC Educators to learn about local plants and how to identify common species in our area. Everyone is welcome. Bring a friend, or two! No registration required.

Meet at Mills Mansion Staatsburgh State Historic Site. Park at the Carriage Barn (signs will be posted) to meet DEC Staff. Please note that this program will require walking on rocky steps and uneven terrain. The hike will be about an hour, then attendees are welcome to stay for a nature craft in the Power House (indoor space by the river).
